WHO WE ARE
Shrink the Giant is an upbeat, alternative pop-rock group formed by 3 siblings and 2 friends from the small town of Kamas, Utah. Their playful, yet thoughtful, genre-blending music features sibling harmonies and adventurous instrumentation.
To date, Shrink the Giant has completed 2 tours, played hundreds of shows, opened for Imagine Dragons, Awolnation, Grouplove, and Neon Trees, and was voted Best Alternative Band at the Utah Music Awards. Shrink the Giant’s music has been placed in multiple cinematic productions and the group has composed and recorded original soundtracks for dozens of film and video projects. The band gets regular rotation play time on their local area radio stations. They have released two 12-song albums, and are currently writing their third.

What the Press is saying
Ischa Bee, SLUG Magazine
"Shrink the Giant’s first release is a quality piece of work. It’s pop, it’s polished and it’s positively charming. Singer Stefania Barr has a great voice, all of the instrumentation is tight and mixed well, the songs are well written, age-appropriate and radio-friendly... It’s modern and ready for the masses.
Christopher Robley, CD Baby
"Pretty diverse in terms of modern pop rock influences. Brash young female vocals. Energetic, yet confessional. Kinda like a cross between Avril and Metric. The soundtrack to a broken-hearted video game romance sponsored by Red Bull.
Mark Berman, SPIN IT! Reviews
"If you're looking for really well done indie pop rock with relatable subject matter, versatile instrumentation, and infectious hooks, I'd definitely recommend Shrink the Giant.
